How you earn
You earn money in two ways: from monthly slot subscriptions paid by local businesses, and from commissions on the coupons your guests redeem.
The 70/30 split
For every monthly subscription a local business pays for an ad slot in your guide, you receive 70%. The platform keeps 30% as a service fee that covers infrastructure, Stripe processing, fraud prevention, support and product development.
How prices are set
Each property has 9 ad slots: 3 categories (Food & Drink, Activities, Services) × 3 positions (Prime, Standard, Entry). Default prices are calculated automatically based on:
- Your country (purchasing power)
- Your guest capacity (more guests = more reach = higher price)
- The slot position (Prime > Standard > Entry)
You can change any slot price from the Slots screen in the app. The platform sets a minimum floor (so you don't accidentally undersell), but you can charge more if you have a high-end property.
Example for a 6-guest property in Spain
Default monthly slot prices: Restaurants Prime €15, Standard €10, Entry €8 · Services Prime €18, Standard €14, Entry €10 · Activities Prime €23, Standard €18, Entry €15.
Total monthly potential: €131 in slot fees → €91.70/month for you (70%) if all 9 slots are filled.
Coupon commissions
On top of slot fees, advertisers also pay a small commission every time a guest of yours actually redeems one of their coupons in person. You receive 70% of these commissions too — the same split as slot fees. Both are added to your single monthly payout on the 1st of each month.
How coupon commissions work
Each redemption is added as a line item to the advertiser's monthly Stripe invoice. When the advertiser pays that invoice, Stripe Connect splits the entire amount 70/30 by destination charges — slot fee and coupon commissions together. You don't need to do anything: it lands in your balance automatically.

These are realistic ranges for a published, well-curated guide in a tourist area. New properties usually take 2-4 months to fill all slots organically.
When do I see the money?
The 70% lands in your Stripe Connect account instantly with each subscription payment, but Stripe pays it out to your bank in batches. Read the Monthly payouts page for the schedule.
